I've been getting into live 8 recently (still early days) and i decided to try xfer's nerve vst program, but the only way i can figure out how to make it work is to make my pattern/preset and then record it in live 8 on a audio track. My question is, 'is this the correct way to use nerve?', because i cant seem to make it work like sylenth vst where midi notes trigger the sound from the vst, in nerve it plays all the time when you press play in live 8. I have read the manual and googled my issue but cant seem to find the answer..
I am a newish starter and just need a little guidance plx
